WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING
KAIKOURA COAST TRACK

Fiona Hills:
I thought Astrid was great - knowledgeable, friendly, informative. Food was delicious, varied and more than enough for everyone. Rest stops on hikes were adhered to, Astrid reminded us all to drink, having lunch time at huts with basic hot drinks was nice.
The tour was very well organised. Pickup was as scheduled, food well organised.
ISLAND HILLS STATION TRACK

Trish Brindise:
Have just recently hiked the Island Hills Station Track with Sidetracks Women. Would thoroughly recommend this company. The trip was very well organised and I the best time from start to finish. The added bonus was meeting like minded ladies and sharing a great time together.
Kerrie Hollman:
I just returned home after doing the Island Hills hiking tour with Sidetracks. It was a fabulous trip. Well organised, we had a great guide in Ali, and the food and accomodation were excellent. The cabins were clean and comfortable and hot showers were always appreciated after our day hiking. Lovely likeminded women enjoying getting out in nature and spending time together. I highly recommend Sidetracks women if you are considering a multi day hike or ride, in beautiful NZ.

BANKS PENINSULA TRACK & NELSON LAKES/NYDIA/KAIKOURA
Molly Moriches:
A wonderful experience! I have done two trips with Sidetracks Woman and about to embark on my third trip. Participants come from various backgrounds; in my case – like for many other women – my partner doesn’t share my enthusiasm for walking, so I leave him home alone for a few days (:)) and enjoy this wonderful opportunity to walk, cycle and/or kayak in some of New Zealand’s beauty spots, with a group of like-minded women, in a safe – and very fun – environment. The food is great, too.
I can recommend the Banks Peninsula Track as a truly beautiful location with accommodation which is fairly basic but also charming, much nicer than you might expect along a walking track.
The Nelson Lakes/Abel Tasman trip offers beautiful scenery, very comfortable accommodation, and the chance to walk, cycle and be out on the water. For me the highlight was a fabulous day kayaking among wildlife and spectacular scenery. Highly recommend Sidetracks Women.

NELSON LAKES/NYDIA/KAIKOURA
Jilliene Beale:
I had a fantastic time on the Nelson Lakes/Nydia Track/Kaikoura Coastal Walkway Sidetracks Women trip early in November. Our guide Joh was great. She set the tone for a fun time hiking, eating delicious food, and socializing with a group of like-minded women. I will definitely be signing up for another trip with Sidetracks Women and can't recommend them highly enough for their superb organization and value for money experience.

WEST COAST WILDERNESS

Raewyn Parke:
Definately back at work but such happy memories of our adventure. The West Coast Wilderness trip was magic. The feeling of freedom and joy as we cycled through the most beautiful bush was profound. All this made possible by our cool guides. Ali and Angelica. Their preparation, skill and knowledge makes this adventure amazing. Being with ten other adventurous women as we shared this experience was a joy. We shared the highs but we also bonded as a strong group so supportive of each other. This is my second cyclist adventure with Angelica and Sidetrack women. Have my next adventure booked with them. Big thanks.

ALPS TO OCEAN

Amanda N:
Wow! So grateful to Angelika and the Sidetracks team. I recently completed the Alps to Ocean cycle trail and it was a fantastic experience. The booking process was easy, communication outstanding and the trip itself was incredible. Everyday was fun and different with plenty of photo and refreshment stops and lots of encouragement and tips. The scenery was spectacular, the healthy home cooked food was delicious and the accommodation was very comfortable. This is a great way to travel as a solo traveller - it was extremely well organised and great value for money. If you are thinking about it - do it! Highly highly recommended! I'll be back!
Anne Corbett:
I had a wonderful experience doing the Alps to Ocean ride. I was one of the least experienced in the group having only done the Otago Rail Trail some 5 years ago on a normal mountain bike. I had not ridden an e bike for more than a couple of hours. From the outset it was obvious that this was a well organised tour team. Our introduction to our ebikes was thorough and pitched at the right level. And so it continued throughout the trip. Great food and accommodation, clear briefings about the day ahead and awesome on the trail support by our cycle coach Babs. The scenery was magnificent as was the weather. This trip was a personal challenge for me at 72 years old but I was well supported throughout and I finished it! Angelika runs a tight ship and she was a pleasure to meet and travel with. I would certainly consider doing another one of her adventures.
Lynda Matthews:
Recently completed the Alps to Ocean guided cycle on an ebike with a wonderful group of women including our amazing Angelika and Susannah. The trip was outstanding from start to finish and full of fun, laughter, amazing food and accommodation and just enough cycle challenges to keep it exciting. Time to stop for prepared snacks, lunch boxes and a swim and every meal/snack presented on a top cafe level with a fresh table cloth sitting amidst the 'wow' scenery always on our path. I would thoroughly highly recommend this tour for women of all abilities on a bike. We were so well looked after and I know everyone that partakes in this tour will be too and left with an exceptional experience/adventure to add to their life journey.
Kate Holley:
I recently did the mountains to sea tour with sidetracks women. Wow what an amazing experience with a group of like minded women who I didn’t know before we got on the bus. This is the first time I have done anything like this but I feel confident I would definitely do another tour with Sidetracks again. The whole trip was amazingly thought out with wonderful food and our tour leader Susanna was just awesome. I would definitely recommend Sidetracks to anyone thinking of taking a trip and I can’t wait until I can go on my next tour. Thank you Sidetracks Woman Angelika and Susanna 🙂

EXPLORE OTAGO
Elizabeth Bibby:
What a great adventures I have had cycling the Alps to Ocean trail and the Explore Otago trail with Sidetracks all women tours. The experience has been one I will never forget - from learning better ways to ride an ebike to overcoming fears about challenging corners to peddling up big hills! Having a guide with us along the journey was a huge benefit. I have so many wonderful memories and photos of the time spent with a great group of fellow adventurers. Would I go on another Sidetracks adventure? 100% yes!
Lorraine Henare:
Just completed the Explore Otago, was totally fantastic, will organized, very knowledgeable tour guide, totally looked after. Great food, great company, great guide, great tour.
Miranda Welch:
This was my second trip with Sidetracks Women and they have both been such great holidays. This one was cycling in central Otago in autumn to see the brilliant golds and reds - so lovely. These trips are always so well organised, the food is just excellent, and the accommodation always warm and comfortable. Angelika shares history and information that is always interesting. You're guaranteed a great time. I'm now planning my next tour.
Lyn Tairi:
I loved my Central Otago cycle tour with Sidetracks. It was well organised, the food and accommodation were excellent. As a novice cyclist Angelika (our tour leader) was encouraging and patient with me. I’d highly recommend to other women looking for adventures.
Coral:
I've just completed the Explore Otago cycle tour and would recommend it to anyone. So well organized, great guide, lovely accommodation, comfortable beds, delicious food and good bikes. We were a diverse group but got on so well. Several were repeat clients of Sidetracks Women and I can see why, I'm already planning my next trip.
Ngaire Healy:
The Otago Central Trail bike tour was my first with Sidetracks and I loved it. Everything was extremely well organised and the wonderful healthy food and lovely accommodation was a real pleasure. Unfortunate about the rain but that only added to the whole experience..😊 Thank you Susanna for being our wonderful guide and thank you Sidetracks for offering a fantastic range of women only tours for us to experience with other like minded women. I’m definitely looking forward to experiencing other cycle and kayak tours with you.
LAKES FIORDS AND MOUNTAINS

Tina Campbell:
I would like to say a big thanks to Sidetracks Women for giving me the most fantastic week biking around the Mountains in Queenstown. I wouldn't have done any of it by myself. But with the group of Ladies it was brilliant and I would highly recommend other Ladies going on these group tours.

Paulina Gray:
This was my very first cycling tour, all details were taken care off, food, accommodation, transport. Lots of helpful tips of how to bike safely. Having a hot cup of soup at lunch time, on our rainy, cold windy day was bliss. These sort of thoughtful touches made the whole tour amazing.
Kim Bunting:
What a blast!! Just done Lakes Fiords-and mountains on e bike. Totally recommend this tour . We were well looked after by our guides Angelika and Barbara , food and accommodation were fabulous ! a real variety. We saw so much beautiful scenery ,biking 240 kms approx we learnt biking techniques that were necessary for the various trails we rode. I feel so much more confident and will be back to do another tour next year.

Ineke Blakey:
I recently completed the Lake2Lake, Round the Mountains and Dunstan Trail. It was a fantastic trip, very well organized and we were totally looked after, despite Angelika having a Tour Leader down due to unforseen circumstances. Every day was fun and the scenery was outstanding. The rides were good with plenty of stops and refreshments. Healthy Home-cooked meals and lunches were a bonus and the accommodation was really good. Thanks for a wonderful holiday and memories 😊
TOP OF THE SOUTH

Judy Reid:
I enjoyed seeing parts of both the west & east coasts that I had not seen on previous visits. Everything I wanted to achieve I did. I thought Jo did an incredible job. Her energy, knowledge and consciousness were outstanding.

Joy Leslie:
Being in nature, seeing attractions like the limestone arches and Paparoa track, Truman track, and Wharariki beach. The dolphins and seals were great too.

WEST COAST SPECIAL
Gill Tracy:
So many aspects to comment on!! As another reviewer said it was great to explore with a fun bunch of women in the wonderful West Coast. I was definitely the least able of the bikers, but Angelica and the rest of the group were super helpful and encouraged me to stop, etc when I needed to. Angelica was very flexible with the tour, as well as knowledgeable and organised. Accommodation and food were great and I have come away delighted and refreshed after the trip. I could rave on....
I have just been on the West Coast Special trip - the same comments apply as the cycle tour about Angelika and the fab group of women.
I would highly recommend this to any woman who just wants to experience a range of amazing places - lakes, rivers and bush, without the hassles of organising, driving and planning food. I was able to just walk and kayak and be revitalised.
PRIVATE GROUP
Sue Alcock:
We have just completed the West Coast Special with a mixed group (Female & Male). Nothing was to too much trouble for our Guide Angelika, some were able to do more than others with the Tramping but we were all accommodated for our ability very well. We tramped, Jet boated, Kayaked, Water Taxied, swam, Laughed and ate well. Angelika did a wonderful job driving, cooking and organizing us all. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone and will certainly be back doing another one of their trips very soon. Angelika is one super woman. keep up the good work Sidetrack Women.
